Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alvin Hartness (Assiniboia, Saskatchewan), who passed away at the age of 89, on June 1, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter and Selena; his siblings, Thomas (Emma), Leo, John (Anne), Joseph, Ethel Wilson, Lois Maynard (Wesley) and Selena Rodger (Lloyd); and his brother-in-law George Wallis.

He is survived by : his children, Debbie Jarton (Alfred), Clayton, Deanne Welter, Mark (Sherry) and Brandon (Carrie); his grandchildren, Chad, Kreg, Natasha, Ashley, Sara, Cody, Taylor and Ryley; his stepgrandchildren, Devin, Preston and Kaitlyn; his great grandchildren, Paxtyn, Romero and Walker; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jayden, Justus, Tyra, Zina, Zeleeka, Zeleana and Scarlet; and his siblings, Mabel Wallis, Maurice and Harvey (Cecelia). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
