He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Shenher and Marie Shenher (Ruschinsky); his son Timothy; his brothers, Ed Shenher and Rob Shenher; his son-in-law Merv Guillemin; and his nephew Carey Shenher.

He is survived by : his wife Gayle Shenher; his daughters, Gaylene Guillemin (George) and Celeste Kwasnicki (Clark); his grandchildren, Lindsey Herperger (Mike), Joel Guillemin, Amanda Ellis (Braden), Nicole Kwasnicki and Curtis Kwasnicki (Tamika); his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Bryson Herperger, Brynn, Zachary and Kabri Ellis; and his sisters, Marlene Tansley and Deb Nicholson.

Memorial donations in Bernie's memory can be given to the Assiniboia Auxiliary for Long Term Care Homes for the Ross Payant Staff, Box 454 Assiniboia, SK S0H 0B0.
