He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Prefontaine and Rita Prefontaine (Beauregard); his sons-in-law, Mark Couture and Bernie Heinrichs; and his siblings, Lorraine (Oliver Rondeau), Marguerite (Sherman Doucette), Annette Ross, Estelle Ross, Denise Charlton, Gilbert, Claude (Pauline) and Raymond.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Brian Prefontaine (Kathy), Kaylem Hudson (Alana), Ryley, Leddi and Rebel; his siblings, Victor (Pat), Robert (Lorna Johnson) and Edith McMinn; and his sisters-in-law, Marguerite and Donna. He is also survived by his 4 children, 14 grandchildren.
