He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Bushell (Langdon) and George Bushell; his brother-in-law Tom Smith; his brothers, Sam (Elsie Berner) and Art (Doreen Drewitz); and his sister-in-law Donna Drewitz.

He is survived by: his wife Edna; his children, Rod (Dayle) of Limerick, Don (Marlene) of Limerick and Arlene of Assiniboia; his grandchildren, Jeff (Beth) of Limerick, Dallas (Genelle) of Moose Jaw, Calder (Nancy) of Saskatoon, Colby (Brittany) of Saskatoon, Spencer (Corallee) of Assiniboia and Kristen (Nathan) of Regina; his great grandchildren, Quinton, Aubree, Sawyer, Cohen, Parker, Collyns and Hudson; his sister Doreen Smith; and his brother-in-law Norman Drewitz.
