He was predeceased by: his wife Beverley; his children, Perry and Patricia; his parents, William and Louisa; his siblings, Bill, Cecil, Ernie, George and Mary; his in-laws, Ted Ferguson, Merv Barnes, Dave Wiks and Ron Wood (Bibi); his parents-in-law, Hannah Myhre and Thomas Barnes; his stepfather-in-law Carl Myhre; and his nephews, Bill Pickens and Bill Ferguson.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Waiting (Terry); his grandchildren, Cory, Jessica, Brett and Craig Waiting (Taylor); his son Kelly Pickens (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Ryder, Andi, Joshua Peneycad, Randi Pickens, Cole, Brody, Kennedy, Kolter, Hunter, Elody, Tristan, Britt, Marissa Pickens, John, Jason, Kyla Pickens, Riley, Kayden, Bentlee, Rylee, Pheenix, Copper and Kayleigh Kiss; his sister Doris Ferguson; and his in-laws, Lola Pickens, Della Pickens, Elda Barnes, Ruth Wiks, Cecil Myhre (Kathy) and Calvin Myhre (Lois).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ross Funeral Chapel (123 4th Ave E, Assiniboia, SK S0H0B0).
