She was predeceased by : her parents, James Tait and Amelia Tait; her husband Ross Embury; her daughter Sharon; and her siblings, Ethel, Alice, Alex, Bert and John.

She is survived by : her children, David Embury (Brenda), Debra Hysuik (Harvey), Susan Lytle (Joe) and Brian Embury; her son-in-law Blair Oancia; her grandchildren, Jenna (Quenton), Kaitlin, Craig (Crystal), Brett, Callie (Brennen), Matthew (Cassandra), Braden, Mackenzie, Robert (Judy), Vaughn and Anna; her great grandchildren, Lucy, Myles, Adalyn, Isaac and Warren; her siblings, Dorothy Swenson (Don) and Charles Tait (Marlene); and her sister-in-law Luise Tait. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, social distancing rules will be applied.

Donations in memory of Ida may be made to the Assiniboia Regional Park Golf Course.
