She was predeceased by : her daughter Roxana Bassendowski; and her husband Jacob George (Ducky). She is survived by : her daughter Elaine (John Kaptein); her grandson Matt Kaptein (Lydia Shawan); her great grandchildren, Ethan and Emilia; her granddaughter Yvonne Kaptein (Brian Kelley); her son Dwayne (Louise Bouvier); her grandson Kevin Bassendowski (Kristen); her great grandchildren, Emmett and Bridget; and her brother Ron Klassen (Marlene). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 30th 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Shamrock Community Hall.
