He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel; his niece Jane; his in-laws, Herman, Odile Zimmerman, Dennis, Larry and Linda; and his nephew Shane.

He is survived by: his wife Renee; his children, Adam (Kristi), Marin, Nolan, Megan (Dave), Grayson, Owen, Brett, Jody (Chad), Jackson and Tyson; his father Robert; his siblings, Bob (Joy), Louise (Jules), Fran (Norbert), Hugh (Michele), Pat (Byron), Diane, Chris (Rik), Wes (Karla), Stephanie (Daren) and Karen (Curtis); and his in-laws, Joyce (Grayden), Bob (Donna), Joan (Wayne), Allan (Janice), Maurice, Marie (Ray), Brian (Lorna), James (Laura), Ann (Richard), Roger and Dan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
