He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Phillips; his son Donald; his grandsons, Robert and Dustin; his siblings, Bud Chartier and Irene Chartier; his parents, Ernest Chartier and Ethel Chartier; his siblings-in-law, Ethel Adams, Evelyn Chartier, Myrtle Tegart Toothe, Larry Adams, Erle Tegart and Bud Toothe; Elva, Walker Phillips and Garry Chartier.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Leah (Linda), Lark (Jon), Noella Terry (Herman), Tim (Joan), Josef, Matthias (Amanda), Jennifer (Shaun), Philip (Camille), Ted (Judy), Lisa (Ben), Mark (Michelle), Ryan (Ariel), Troy (Melissa), Laurel Darryl (Brian), Anita Rebekka (Cody), Ken (Lee-Ann), Kennedy Keegan (Karlin), Kierra, Kerilee Jackson (Gregg) and Mishele. He is also survived by 28 great grand children and his nieces and nephews.
