With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Edward Sirois in Battleford, Saskatchewan, born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 2, 2026 at the age of 86. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Donald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul-Emile Pion and Bertha Pion; and his siblings, Allyre Laurent (Madeleine Ehman), Roger (Jeanne d'Arc Carpentier), Rene (Louise Dogniez), Robert (Marlene Leiffers), Denis, Richard, Murielle (Rosaire Turcotte) and Dolores (Joseph Leier). He was also cherished by his brothers and sister-in-law.

A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM.
