He was predeceased by : his parents, Ted Cope and Alice Cope; his daughter Pat Ginnis; and his siblings, Dodie (Al Hammond), Tom and Eileen (Freddy Rothenberger).
He is survived by : his children, Cathy Smith (Greg), Debbie Shukla (Joyten) and Dale Cope (Shelley); his son-in-law Paul Ginnis; and his sisters, Muriel Belon (late Bill) and Barb Petrie (Bob). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
