He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hansen and Mary Hansen; his grandparents, Harry and Hermaline McCallum; his parents-in-law, Edmond and Christine Chartier; his siblings, Lawrence "Sleepy" Hansen, Mervin "Muff" Morin and Bonnie Hansen; his siblings-in-law, Gerald "Puggan" Reagan and Bonnie Rosteski; and his aunts, Luffy McCallum and Eleanore McCallum.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine "Rose" Hansen; his children, Keyanna "Danis" Hansen, Nick Chartier (Nora), Deanna Larson (Lloyd), Krissie Hansen (Sonny), Albert Hansen (Chantell), Neil Chartier (Geraldine), Kelly Sylvestre and Brittany Misponas; his pet Brody Albert; his siblings, Marlene Hansen, Claude Hansen (Brenda), Lorraine Hansen, Laura Tinker, Joe Hansen, Jo-Jo Hansen and Rene Hansen; his friends, Rene Rediron, Daniel Werminsky, Russel Woods, Max McCallum, Leonard Bouvier, Ron "Wiesel" Banister, Reg McKay and Rod Laliberte; his uncles, Louie McCallum, Lawrence Arnold, Emilian Desjarlais, Elmer Campbell, Jarod Rediron, Darryl Jewett, Al Macht, Gary Sicotte, Lorrie Chartier, Rodney "Manny" McCallum and Bob Thompson; his extended family, Greg Ross (Shirley) and Ray Misponas (Caroline); his godchildren, Donovan Rediron, Clarence "Dutchie" Hanson and Kimberly Chartier; and his siblings' children, Chantelle "Sissy" Hansen, Codie Pedersen, Keith Chartier, Lonnie Rediron and Adrian "Chummy" Chartier. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A wake was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at the Pinehouse Lake Hall. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
