She is survived by: her husband Gale Benson; her daughters, Priscilla Whitstone (Adrian) and Janice Benson; her grandchildren, Tashina (Ualesi), Andrew (Beatrisha), Lindsay (Nolin), Shawna (Adam), Matthew (Claudine), Colby (Terree), Tianna (Justin), Kwelynn, Marian (Tyree), Ayanna and Beau; her great grandchildren, Rhys, Maveryk, Dayton, Nolin Jr., Liyla, Logan, Layne, Olivia, Ellis, Melefiva, Calla, Lauryn, Teuila, Justin Jr. and Warhcha; her siblings, Rose and Gary Lameman; her children, Michele, Preston and Jacqueline; and her siblings, Ernest, James, Geraldine, Elaine, Gina, Sherry and Judy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chief Glen Keskotagan Memorial Hall at Red Pheasant Cree Nation.
