She was predeceased by: her parents, Metro Boychuk and Caroline Boychuk (Matsalla); her husband August; her siblings, Nick, John, Anton, Lawrence, Mary Stefanowich, Victoria Antoniuk, Emily Danyluk and Antonia Hladun; her son Gus; and her son-in-law Lorne Boychuk.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Lesley), Irene Boychuk, Leona Lofthang (James) and Lorri Shewchuk; her grandchildren, Lisa, Jamie (Rachelle), Amber, Jayna, Austin, Mya, Nate and Jace; and her sister Delores Brown. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Leson's Funeral Home (128 2 Ave, Canora, SK S0A0L0). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at the St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery (710 Main St, Canora, SK S0A0L0).
