Helen Orschy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Orschy of Canora, Saskatchewan, born in Alvena, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 7, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Melnyk and Marie Melnyk (Bobel); her husband Tony Orschy; her brothers, Nick Melnyk (Noreen) and Paul Melnyk (Norma); her son James Orschy; and her nephew Terry Melnyk.

She is survived by : her daughter Kathy Flynn (Scott) of Drayton Valley, AB; her grandsons, David Flynn (Sukhi) of Edmonton, AB, Nathan Flynn (Angie) of Drayton Valley, AB and Tyson Flynn of Edmonton, AB; her daughter Judy Olynick (Bob) of Morse, SK; her grandchildren, Ryan Olynick (Natasha) of Morse, SK, Brad Olynick (Terra) of White City, SK, Kristen Wirsche (Tim) of Regina, SK, Trevor Olynick (Brittany) of Regina, SK, Henry and Purnell Severight; her great grandchildren, Parker, Cutter, Huxton, Griffin, Holden, Aiden, Tavian, Mekhi and Carter Flynn; and her nephews, Michael, Allan, Mark, Gary and Robin Melnyk. She is also survived by extended family members and many friends.
