She was predeceased by: her husband Adam Kotyk; her parents, Peter Kowbel and Warwara Kowbel; and her siblings, Joseph Kowbel, William Kowbel (Bill), Helen Bayda, Frances Romanow, John Kowbel, Hanya and Miroslavka.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia McCoshen (Curtis) of Saskatoon; her grandson Daniel McCoshen (Karina) of Saskatoon; and her sister Olga Sherban of Saskatoon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church (216 5 Ave, Canora, SK S0A0L0). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan or as Mass Offerings, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Mary Kotyk.
