He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Nordin and Erika Nordin; his wife Bernadine Pelletier; his son Brian; and his siblings, Philip (Norma), Lawrence (Fay), Adolph (Dorothy), Carl (Gladys), Howard (Elsie), Henry, Myrtle Harwood (Leslie) and Laura Bennett (Jack).

He is survived by: his children, Theresa Kopeck (Jerry), Allan Nordin (Colleen), Karen Nordin (Garth Bode) and Denise Nordin-MacDonald; his grandchildren, Amber Hughes (Jeff), Brett Kopeck (Shawntel), Reece Wionzek (Andrea), Madison MacDonald, Jim McDougald (Louise), Angela Ritchie (Dave) and Alexandra Baumgarten (Shawn); his sister Irene Bekkering (Derk); and his friends, Ross and Phyllis of Canora. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Morris may be made to the Elim Lutheran Cemetery in Buchanan.
