She was predeceased by : her husband Steve Kotyk; her parents, Wasyl Skoretz and Katherine Skoretz (Bilski); and her siblings, Steve, John, Rudolph, Mary, Annie and Caroline.

She is survived by : her sons, Ernest (Harmony) of Abbotsford, BC, Nes of Medicine Hat, AB and Danny (Peggy) of St. Louis, SK; her grandsons, Scott Kotyk of Squamish, BC and Sheldon Kotyk (Julie) of Winnipeg, MB; her great grandchildren, Kristen, Ava and Jamie of Winnipeg, MB; her stepgrandchildren, Theresa Jaeger (Toby) of Prince Albert, SK, Ty and Jeremy of Prince Albert, SK; and her siblings, Mike, Tom, Daniel, Bernard, Frank, Edward and Hilda. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
