He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Derkatch and Fern Derkatch (Rymar); and his siblings, Emil, Pete, Tom, Gordon, Ernie, Victor, Anne, Tina, Margie and Edna.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Dawn and Trent Nicholas; his siblings, Mike, Minnie, Jennie, Linda and Mary; his significant other Sonia; his significant other's children, Sherry (Mike) and Louan (Morley); his grandchildren, Sammy and Becky (Cole); his great grandchildren, Paisley and Renn; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Isabella and Jackson.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Leson's Funeral Home (128 2 Ave, Canora, SK S0A0L0). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Dnipro Cemetery.
