It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kai Christian Andersen of Canwood, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens Andersen and Sigrid Andersen (Christiansen); his wife Joan Andersen (Lovberg); his siblings-in-law, Bill Voigt, Lorne Lovberg, Ken Gaines, Ray McAvay, Walter Baertl, Doris Gaines and Edna McAvay; his niece Jennifer Heiberg; Harold and Victoria Lovberg.

He is survived by: his child Gay Erickson (Glen); his grandchild Ashley; his children, Roger Andersen (Jennifer McLennan) and Shelley Andersen (Valray Wideen); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Rachelle and Shane; his daughter Sherry Felix (Al); his grandchildren, Brian and Amber; his siblings, Gary Andersen (Norma-Jean), Jane Hildebrand and Grethe Voigt; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Lovberg (Mona), Donna Lovberg and Evelyn Baertl. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Memorial donations in memory of Kai may be directed to the Blue Heron Cemetery or to Whispering Pine Place Recreation Department.
