He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah; his children, Calvin Fischer (Karen) and Sonia Wilson (Aaron); his grandchildren, Christine Robertson (Garett), Katie, Erica Wilson, Jace, Kyla and Jaden Fischer; his great grandchildren, Melody and Myles Robertson; his father Ralph Fischer (Fran); his siblings, Laurie, Mark Fischer, Starr Bachert (Dale), Joy Elliott (Doug) and Gaye Webber (Ron); his children-in-law, Jenn Fischer and Jeremy Wilson; his mother-in-law Shirley McNair; his sister-in-law Colleen Lowes; his son Courtney; his mother Joyce Fischer; and his father-in-law James McNair.
