She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Plews and Gwen Plews; her husband Earl Verity; and her brothers, Al and Jack Plews.

She is survived by: her sisters, Joyce Verity and Wilma Plews; her children, Laura Verity, Al (Dianne) and Garth Verity; and her granddaughters, Tiffany Monckton, Jeneva Duff and Nicole Dunne.
