He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Louise; his children, Terri Sparks (Wade), Tim (Denise), Laura Pilon (Denis), Susan Pitura (Dale), Jackie Schuett (Guy) and Vickie Krauss (Dean); his sisters, Ada Hammel and Rita Rodney (Con); his brother-in-law Lawrence Harty; his daughter Denise; his grandson Ryan Bengert; his son-in-law Reid Foster; his parents, Monica Forer and Enrico Forer (Henry); his siblings, Harold (Ruthann), Don (Mabel), Dick (Bernadette) and Mary Dubord (Denis); his brother-in-law John Hammel; his parents-in-law, Stella and Roy Kirkpatrick; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Kirkpatrick, Raymond Kirkpatrick (Eileen), Gordon Kirkpatrick (Mary), Roy Kirkpatrick (Ada) and Adele Linton (Clarence). He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Parish Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations in Remo's name be made to the Coteau Range Manor (cheques made payable to the Village of Avonlea, PO Box 209, Avonlea, SK S0H 0C0) or to St. Joseph's Parish, Box 1-7, Claybank, SK S0H 0W0.
