He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma and Harold; his brothers, Gordon, Wes, Randy and Glenn; his brother-in-law Roland Stolz; and also, Ruby Bakken and Alf Bakken.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Lees (Tisdale), Randa, Stone (Lethbridge), Steve Newhouse (Lynne) and Rene Newhouse-Gillespie (Matt); his former wife Betty-Ann Newhouse (Cranbrook); his grandchildren, Katurah, Kenny (Latoya), Rolly Green, Taylor Rucker (Tucker), Alexa Levair (Josh), Daniel Zimmer (Kelsey Stewart-Reynolds), Keeley, Stevie, Kendrey and Adam Gillespie; his great grandchildren, Qiana Green, Mekhi Green and Augustus Rucker (Gus); his sister Sharon Stolz (Frontier); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Newhouse (Shaunavon), Shirley Newhouse (Regina) and Barry Bakken (Laura).
