He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Alfred; his wife Kathy; his pet Darwinnie; his mother Helen; his siblings, Knowlton, Dianne (Shawn) and Sandi; and his siblings' children, Kam, Andy, Mick and Randy.

A wake was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cowessess Community Hall, Cowessess First Nation. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
