It is with sadness that the passing of John Charles Eyre of Craik, Saskatchewan is shared. John Charles, born on January 29, 1944 in Wadena, Saskatchewan, passed away on September 10, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Eyre and Doris Eyre; his brother Richard; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Strain (Mona Robinson) and Jim Bell; and his cousins, Jimmy Carlson and Terry Bekolay.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Ryan and Michael Eyre (Kaly); his grandchildren, Jack, Gunnar, Ragnar and Reinar; his siblings, Don (Joanne), Sharon and Brenda; his nieces and nephews, Wayne (Jennifer), John (Joy), Jeff (Kara), Greg (Jennifer), Scott, Eric (Stella), Stacey (Travis), Lisa, Kelsey (James) and Karen; and his siblings-in-law, Lorna (Bruce) and Sam. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tompkin's Funeral Home (113 1 Ave N #113-B, Wadena, SK S0A4J0).
