It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ernest Paul Sawchyn of Crooked River, Saskatchewan, who passed away at the age of 90, on December 20, 2020. He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline; his parents, Michael Sawchyn and Effamia Sawchyn; and his siblings, Peter, Nick, Alex, William, Russell, John, Edward and Ann.

He is survived by: his daughter Linda Sylvester (Brad) of Saskatoon; his granddaughter Megan Martin (Matt) of Saskatoon; his great grandchildren, Cormac and Caoilinn; his grandson Shawn (Jocelyn Williams) of Meadow Lake; his son Larry Sawchyn (Ulrike) of Regina; his grandson Corey Sawchyn (Jenn) of Regina; his great grandchild Avery; his granddaughter Erika (Ivan Dusyk) of Regina; and his sisters, Verna Rielkoff (Wally), Elsie Thera (Jerry), Margie Fulton, Judith Cox, Olga Strykiwsky, Katie Sawchyn and Helen Sawchyn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests any donations made in Ernest's Memory be made to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of All Saints.
