She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Doell; her parents, Franklin Byers and Freda Byers; her parents-in-law, Johann and Katharina Doell; her daughter Lisa; and her grandson Murray.

She is survived by: her children, Calvin, Chuk (Maggie), Jon (Deb) and Naomi (Brian Kirkness); her siblings, Vivian Rowles, Ray, David and John; her close friend Helen Chernoff; and her sisters-in-law, Ruby Dyck, Catherine Wootton (David), Elsa Doell and Olga Friesen. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
