He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann P. Klassen and Maria Wiebe; his daughter Doreen Coolidge (Murray); his wife Tina; and his son Gordon.
He is survived by: his sons, Fred (Linda), Glenn (Evelyn), Herb (Nadine) and Walter (Catherine Thompson). He is also survived by 5 children and their spouses, as well as 17 grandchildren (14 with partners), 43 great-grandchildren (3 with partners), and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
