He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his pet Kinley; his children, Kianna, Kevin Janzen, Zoe, Brody Melnyk, Danielle, Mackenzie Friesen, Karleigh, Chad Zulyniak, Matthew, Alycia Martens, Cody, Shaleen Martens, Seth, Dillon, Beau, Chase, Maverick, Chloe, Tessa, Shealynn, Regan Pichler, Devon Martens, Hailey White (Cheyanniah), Colton, Emilie Martens (Sadie), Brittany (Bryan Hamm) and Dylan Martens (Courtney Barteski); his siblings, Henry Unruh (Mary), Anne Peters (Irvin), Elizabeth Wiebe (Issac), Eva Peters (Edward), Cornelius Unruh (Sarah), Tina Thiessen (Bill) and Margaret Thiessen (Abe); Joyce Unger (Jules), Kathy Bueckert (Dan), Jeanne Malberg (Gary) and Julie Baumgarten (Terry).
Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Martensville Mission Church (6 5 Ave N, Martensville, SK S0K2T0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dalmeny Bible Church (406 Wakefield Ave, Dalmeny, SK S0K1E0).
