It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Richard Wharton (Dalmeny, Saskatchewan), born in Vanguard, Saskatchewan, who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wharton and Marjorie Wharton; and his sister Donna Goertzen (Henry). He is survived by: his wife Norma; his daughters, Kayla Wharton and Tiffany Pichler (Adam); his granddaughter Adeline; his daughter Talita Martens (Luke); his granddaughter Jaye; and his siblings, Beverly Kelly (Steve), Sharon Blinn (Bill), Ross Wharton, Nancy Powers (Myron), Melody Janzen (Albert) and Janine Rempel (Bob). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

David Richard Wharton was welcomed into Heaven on November 11, 2025, after a long journey with Parkinson's disease.
