She was predeceased by : her son Darcy Demeester; her parents, Vera Thomas and Edward Thomas; her siblings, Eddy Thomas and Martha Bentz; her parents-in-law, Andrea Demeester and Omer Demeester; and her siblings-in-law, Julius Zatylny, Carl Billinski, Walter Manz, Madeline Manz, Pauline Thomas and Donna Demeester.

She is survived by : her husband Paul Demeester; her children, Theresa Forster (Dale) and Darwin Demeester; her siblings, Margaret Takaki (Bob), Helen Zatylny, Dorothy Thomas, Rose Kolody (Peter) and Lionel Thomas; and her brother-in-law Dennis Demeester (Julie). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
