He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Amundrud and Grace Amundrud; his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Gordon, Ken, Howard, Marjorie and Marlene.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Amundrud of Woking, Alberta and Nancy Dalueg (Mike) of Stony Plain; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Scott), Brandon, Kyla, Gregory and Allyssa; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Mason, Payton and Lucas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
