He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim and Florence; his son Danny; his sister Shirley; his niece Rhonda; his parents-in-law, Wilmer and Edna Goodwin; his siblings-in-law, Lavona (George), Pearl (Fred), Leverne and Byron (Shirley); and his niece Robin.
He is survived by: his wife Bea; his son Jim (Kim) of Airdrie; his daughter-in-law Jami (Darryl) of Delisle; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Blake), Brittni (Corey), Reid, Carissa (Chase), Murray (Chelsea) and Scott; his stepgrandchildren, Jordan (Kaley), Stephanie (Chris) and Caitlin (James); his siblings, Don (Penny), Sandra (Kendall) and Arlene (Randy); and his siblings-in-law, Gord, Arlo (Sally), Johnny, Charlie (Judy), Art (Sandra), Gloria (Lynn) and June. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Syd's memory will be graciously accepted to the Delisle Golf Course c/o the Town of Delisle, PO Box 40 Delisle SK, S0L0P0, cheques may be made out to the Town of Delisle with a memo in memory of Sydney Hill.
