With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tangina Ballantyne in Deschambault Lake, Saskatchewan, born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 31. She was predeceased by: her son Hendryk T. Naytowhow; her siblings, Trina Angie Ann Ballantyne and Cougar W. Sewap; her grandfather Roderick Eninew; her uncle Daniel R. Ballantyne; her aunt Josephine Ballantyne; and her cousin Nicholas W. Ballantyne.
She is survived by: her daughter Raina Renesmay Ballantyne; her parents, Eugene Ballantyne (Marilyn) and Beverly A. Ballantyne; her siblings, Braden, Turian, Catch, Eugene and Nipin; her grandparents, Lillian A. Ballantyne, Maryann and Issac C. Ballantyne; her aunts and uncles, June (Roland), Kelly (Donnie), Lillian, Christine (Paul), Joyce, Rachel, Bertha, Walter (Thelma), Alex, Glen, Horace, Alvin and Benjamin; her cousins, Trevor, Preston, Yolanda, Tanita, Glenn, Kristin, Simeon, Kyle, Dillion, Colin, Erin, Jordan, Kevin, Carmen, Mary, Carlyle, Alexander, Quentin, Quade, Quintessa, Wayne, Gabriel, Jonathan, Patricia, Angela, Debra, Tania, Glenda, Brittany, Ian, Mark, Mathew, Larry, Tabitha, Stephanie, Norman, Evan, Roxanne, Randell, Jose and Sharona; her siblings' children, Cashtin, Josiah, Lander, Zayleigh, Teveah and Kendria; and her close friend Skyler Starblanket.
A prayer was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the River Park Funeral Home (301 River St W, Prince Albert, SK S6V 2Z3). A wake was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 and on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at the St. Peter Anglican Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
