William Marius Sylvestre Sr. Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of William Marius Sylvestre Sr. (Dillon, Saskatchewan). William, born on April 26, 1952, passed away on October 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Sylvestre and Couronne Sylvestre; and his siblings, Felix Sylvestre, Alfred Sylvestre, Jimmy Sylvestre, Louis Sylvestre, Emilian Morin, Magloire Benjamin, Annette Noltcho, Rosaline Chanalquay, Claire Sylvestre, Irene Sylvestre and Marie Louise Sylvestre.

He is survived by: his children, Iona Yew (Lloyd), Tanya Chanalquay (Donald), June Sylvestre (Rob), William E. Sylvestre Jr., Justin Sylvestre (Cora), Craig Wall (Catherine) and Jason Billette; his siblings, Therese Billette (Joe), Marlene Sylvestre, Philip Sylvestre and Abraham Sylvestre (Francine); his grandchildren, Chris Sylvestre, Robert Sylvestre, Robin Yew, Regan Yew, Billie-Jo Sylvestre, Marcus Chinalquay, William "Buckies" Sylvestre, Dylan Sylvestre, River Sylvestre, Isabella Durant, Damian Durant, Daya Durant, Juanita Sylvestre, Juanisha Sylvestre, Tennielle Sylvestre, Kayleigh Rae Sylvestre, Nason Nezcroche, Nataya Nezcroche, Nevion Nezcroche, Jayden Billette, Jerrick Billette and Jared Billette; and his great grandchildren, Michayle Sylvestre, Alyse Woods-Sylvestre, Maria Sylvestre, Daxton Sylvestre, Sienna Sylvestre, Craig Sylvestre, Ryder Sylvestre, Bentley Sylvestre, Tatum Sylvestre, Amelia Sylvestre, Bailey Sylvestre, Emerson Sylvestre, Camryn Sylvestre and Brock Sylvestre. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church.
