She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Gillen; her parents, Ewald Hicke and Ida Hicke (Ducek); her parents-in-law, Paul and Wilma (Park); and her brothers-in-law, Allan Murk, Art Filax and Dale Filax.
She is survived by: her daughter Tennille (Eldon Summach); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Zayda, William and Emerson; her children, Noel and Courtney; her siblings, Brian Hicke (Helen), Marvin Hicke (Wanda), Maxine Bevan (Dave) and Candace Forrester (Stewart); and her sisters-in-law, Lucille Cummer, Lyn Murk and Rosemary Filax. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (203 4 Ave, Dodsland, SK S0L0V0).
