He was predeceased by : his brother John; his father-in-law Don McLean; and his parents, Mansel Powell and Bernice Powell (Smithson). He is survived by : his wife Carrie; his children, Krista Powell, Melanie Molnar (Kris) and Evan Powell (Jenna); his grandchildren, Rory, Jaxon and Ryker; his sisters, Gloria Powell Smith (Bryce) and Sandra Gulka (Bill); his mother-in-law Mary McLean; and his siblings-in-law, Daryl McLean (Shirley), Lyndon McLean (Brook), Bev McLean and Donna Pittman (Logan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 25th 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (113 3 Ave, Ebenezer, SK S0A0T0).

If friends so desire memorial donations may be made in Jack's memory to the Ebenezer Baptist church.
