He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Johnson and Beatrice Johnson; his parents-in-law, Jack and Muriel Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Les Curzon and Karen Thiel.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughter Lana (Grant); his grandchildren, Brandi (Taylor), Brent, Rebecca (Garet), Dwayne and Ian (Emalie); his great grandchild Myles; his sister Eleanor; his sibling's children, Sue and Rod (Lynne); and his siblings-in-law, Garry (Susan), Jackie (Ernie), Connie (Gary) and Joan (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Donations in memory of Dennis may be made to Lady Minto Health Care Centre - Residents Fund or donor's charity of choice.
