He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie McAlpine (Ekberg) and Donald McAlpine; his siblings, William, Donald Jr., Archie, Lawrie, Ronald, Florence, Isabelle, Kay, Mary, Margaret Jean (Bill), Juhli (Pearl) and Patricia; and his in-laws, Kieth and Eva Arnott.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Arnott; his son Scott (Lisa); his grandchildren, Megan and Matthew; his daughter-in-law Carolyn (Dufour); his grandchildren, Adam, Teresa and Michael; his siblings, Vivian Hogarth and Gerry McAlpine (Eugenia); and his brother-in-law Ken (Janet). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and special friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall (473 Main St, Esterhazy, SK S0A0X0).
Memorial donations in memory of Stewart McAlpine may be made to STARS Air Ambulance, the Esterhazy Hospital Auxillary, or the Esterhazy Royal Canadian Legion Branch 249 as gifts of remembrance.
