She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Barreth; her parents, Jacob Messer and Francis Messer; her parents-in-law, Alexander and Magdalene Barreth; her sisters, Veronica Zentner (Ron), Dianne Issler (Henry) and Dorothy Messer; and her sisters-in-law, Irene Deimert (Ralph) and Joan Messer.

She is survived by: her son Brent Barreth (Mary Ellen); her grandchildren, Nicole Wright (Braden Daniels) and Joe Wright; her daughter Sandra Barreth; her great grandchildren, Atlee and Ander Daniels; her brothers, Delbert Messer (Anita), Wayne Messer (Verna) and Wilfred Messer; and her siblings-in-law, Beulah Sawyer (Garry) and Glen Barreth (Laura). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
