He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Lees; his parents, John Lees and Hazel Lees; his brothers, Fred Lees and Robert Lees "Bob"; his sister-in-law Ruth Lees; and his nephew John Lees.

He is survived by: his children, Candace Mattei (Theron) and Collin Lees (Cherie); his grandson Tyrel Mattei; his brother John Lees; his siblings-in-law, Marian Lees, Marlene Pelletier, Jack Babbings (Karen) of Lower Sackvill, N. S, Ronald Babbings (Lynn) and B. Cas; and his close friends, Lynn, Norm Trobert, Bev Holinaty, June and Richard Gervais. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
