He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Nokahoot and Ken Standingready; his grandparents, Ollie Nokahoot (Alli) and Margaret Lonechild; his siblings, Blaine Nokahoot, Beverly Nokahoot and Lillian Sparvier; his siblings' children, Chase McKay, Ken Wayne Nokahoot and Erica Crevier; his brother-in-law Charles Crevier; his grandchildren, Storm Maxie and Haven Dubois; his children, Trina Maxie, Aurora, Brock, Chloe, Onyx, Richelle Dubois, James, Josephine Dubois, Shawna, Aiden and Quinton; his grandchildren, Basil Quewezance, Charlene Crevier (Charles), Gloria, Cynthia, Kevin, Erica and David; and his children, Debbie Ann Maxie, Crystal, Andy, Charlene Eashappie, Dez Standingready, Judy Pelletier (Dion), David, Denny, Tanis, Kendall Nokahoot (Karen), Waylon, Amanda, Keenan, Shelby, Lana Littlechief (Terry), Harvey, Jesse, Joseph, Ken Kelly Standingready (Sonny), Kelly Marie, Brenda Fiddler (Gary), Jennifer, Jill, Angeline Akachuck (Edward Sandy), Traci, Melissa, Warren, Caston, Leonda, Jace, Lyndon, Linda Akachuck and Karen Shepherd (Gene).
He is survived by: his aunt Nora Kakakaway; and his uncle Donald Lonechild. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A wake will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the White Bear Education Complex. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
