He was predeceased by : his parents, John Lukye and Annie Lukye; and his pet Huetzle. He is survived by : his wife Lyla; his son Johnny Lukye (Caroline); his granddaughters, Raquel Lukye and Stacey Lukye; his son David Lukye (Pat); his grandchildren, Tanya Alexander (Ricky), Kimberlee Pushie (Darren), Michael Mills (Liz) and Kayla Simon; his daughter Angela Lukye (Ian); his granddaughters, Sierra Armstrong and Reese Armstrong; and his siblings, Shirley Thievin (Rick), Ronald Lukye, Donna Mitchell and Sharon Blondeau (Tom). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Services (1506 4 St, Estevan, SK S4A 0X6).
