He was predeceased by: his wife Marian Folkerts; his parents, Nicholas Fornwald and Eva Fornwald; his parents-in-law, Henry and Natalie Folkerts; his son Randy Fornwald; his siblings, Dorothy (Ernest Schmidt), Howard Fornwald (Barbara) and Ted Fornwald; his brothers-in-law, Raymond Klatt and Joseph Mlynarczyk; and his nephew Robert Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Fornwald (Barb, family: Meghann Lischka, Brendan, Cayden), Nicholas Fornwald (Kaitlyn), Kayn, Alexa, Brianne, Kelly Fornwald [Sophia] and Emily Fornwald; his grandchildren, Angela Fornwald, Bryla and Chayton; his children, Robert Fornwald, Christine Mack (Kevin), Taylor, Cali-Marie (Griffen), Leland and Cheryl Leptich (Brian, family: Nolan Leptich, Brady Leptich, Lizann Bougie, Aeria); his sister Margaret Klatt; Cathryn Mlynarczyk and Yvonne Fornwald. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
