James Burgess Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Burgess of Estevan, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burgess and Dora Burgess (Fell); his uncle Warden Burgess; and his aunt Maude Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Jo-Anne Burgess of Estevan; his children, Karen Burgess (Sean) of Regina Beach and Jim Burgess (Melodie) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Anderson, McKenna, Maya and Taryn; his child Sister Jean Gadd (Kieth); his niece Leanne Gadd; his nephew Neil Gadd; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Wettstein (Karl) and Mary Cody. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
