He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Victor Collins and Clara Collins; his sister Elva Haagenson; and his brother-in-law Ron Muirhead.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sheri Trobert (Greg) of Regina, Sask and Glynis Hunter (Keith) of Mississauga, Ont.; his grandsons, Devin, Tyler Trobert and Jake Jarochowicz; his sisters, Kathy Muirhead of Estevan and Vicki Winter (John) of Estevan; and his brother-in-law Gary Haagenson (Nev) of Pahrump. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
