With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Cherneski (Fenwood, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 24, 2019 at the age of 104. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Cherneski to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Cherneski of Goodeve, SK; her parents, John Mihalicz and Margaret Mihalicz; her siblings, John Mihalicz (Mary), Joe Mihalicz (Polly), Helen Frishko (Peter) and Wilma Pankoski (Elben); her son-in-law Albert Kaczur; and her grandson Terrance Kaczur.

She is survived by: her brother Irwin Mihalicz (Alexandra); her children, Virginia Kaczur, Verna Taylor (Fred) and Jerry Cherneski (Janice Holmes); her grandchildren, Trenton Kaczur, Thea Semple (Nick), Carlee Cherneski, Akele Taylor and Chad Cherneski (Maureen); her great grandchildren, Jayden Taylor, Keon Hunt and Liv Taylor Carter; and her cousins, Eugene Mihalicz (Lois) and Al Gerenscer (Joan Schwartz). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Gerard's Church, Yorkton or St. Peter & Paul Church, Fenwood as gifts of remembrance.
