We announce the death of Dana Kahnapace (Fort Qu'appelle, Saskatchewan), who passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 62. Dana will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Alex Matonay and Sarah Asham; his grandparents, Henery Kahnapace and Harrit Kahnapace (Cyr); his parents, Rosalie Panbrun and George Kahnapace; his siblings, Anton, Robert, Raymond, Marty, Kevin Kahnapace, Kendrea, Harrit and Sandrea Kahnapace; and his son Samson Kahnapace.
He is survived by: his children, Julie, Kristen, Michelle, Chyanne and Rosalie; his siblings, Joseph, Richard, Curtis Kahnapace and Denita Kahnapace; his nephew Joseph Kahnapace Jr.; and his grandson Amrie Strongeagle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
