He was predeceased by: his wife Heather Liggett; his parents, Viola Liggett and Walter Liggett; his parents-in-law, Jean and James Gunn; his grandson Carter Tinant; his stepson Darwin Lowenberg; his stepson-in-law Greg Sjodin; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Gasper, Leonard Semaniuk and Joy Denton.
He is survived by: his daughter Devon Tinant (Blair); his grandsons, Brennan and Gavin Tinant; his stepdaughters, Tammy Sjodin and Sara Griffin; his stepdaughter-in-law Vickie Lowenberg; his stepgrandchildren, Eric Sjodin (Valerie), Serena Sjodin (Douglas Stephenson), Katelyn Marsdin, Daniel Lowenberg, Lacey Lowenberg, Brady Lowenberg (Kimberlyn), Chantelle Loewen (Cody), Keena McKnight and Jaden Griffin; his sister Margrete Gasper (Grant Fraser); and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Gunn and Shirley Carefoot (John).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Frobisher Union Church (5 St, Frobisher, SK S0C0Y0).
